Meet Our Designers
Paulette Lilla, the owner of The Custom Decorator, has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bridgewater State College, has studied abroad at the Universite de Caen, France and at the New England School of Art and Design, Boston, MA. Paulette works with residential and commercial clients creating interiors through the use of her extensive showroom resources, The Design Center in Boston and local artisans.
A former dressmaker, Paulette uses her experiences in pattern making to design unique window treatments, decorative pillows, shaped seat cushions and many one-of-a kind accessories including bassinette and crib accessories, specialty items such as bird cage covers, vanity skirts, and many more.

Theresa Fagan has a background as retail buyer of window treatments & drapery hardware, as well as giftware and house wares. Theresa has two Associates Degrees; Liberal Arts from Massasoit Community College and Interior Design from Newbury College, Brookline, MA.
Theresa designs for clients at the shop or in their home, and manages the business office of The Custom Decorator.
